Routie app on iPhone 6

I am excited to announce that Routie update 2.7 is now available on the App Store! It brings full compatibility with iOS 8, as well as support for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. You can get it here.

The update also brings Notification Center widget that lets you:

  • view current distance and duration
  • start and stop tracking
  • quickly open Routie app

As always, if you like the update, please leave a review on the App Store. I’d also like to thank all of you who already took the time and reviewed it. The overwhelming positivity of most comments gives me great amount of motivation to keep working on Routie in the future, as well as a great joy that you, the users, appreciate the work I put into it, and the quality and polish that I’ve always strived for. THANK YOU!

Love your app! Current version for ios8 running in the background occasionally stops tracking. Track is stored but is truncated. I just want to make sure you are aware of this just in case you haven’t heard.
I am using the iPhone 6+.

Thank you very much and I want to reiterate that this is the best tracking app that I have use. Full featured detail review information is great.

      Hi James,
thanks for the compliments! I am really glad to hear that you like the app so much. I am sorry for the delayed answer, lately the blog has been flooded by comment spammers and I haven’t gone through all the comments and select which one to approve, until now.
Regarding the occasional track truncating – I am sorry to hear that. One user reported it as well, but I can’t seem to be able to find out what it’s about. I’ll look into it more as soon as possible. Unfortunately I don’t have iPhone 6 nor 6+, so I can’t test it myself.

Thanks again! And I promise I will solve this
      Lukas
